POWTECH 2026 | Hall 7, Stand 7-807
The next generation of dynamic image analysis makes its debut
Time: 29 September – 01 October 2026
Location: Nuremberg, DE
At POWTECH 2026, Sympatec will unveil two groundbreaking innovations to industry professionals for the first time. Discover how sophisticated particle measurement technology and continuous development are setting new standards in precision, efficiency and flexibility.
QICPIC/S | The next milestone in dynamic image analysis
A larger sample volume, even sharper images and smarter data processing: QICPIC/S combines several significant technological advances in a single new sensor generation.
Significantly higher frame rates than previous models, combined with a larger field of view, enable a substantially higher number of particles to be measured within the same measurement duration, providing immediate benefits in terms of statistical significance, measurement accuracy and repeatability.
Increased camera resolution with smaller pixel sizes and higher exposure intensity achieve a new level of image quality and particle detection: even the finest structures are captured with razor-sharp edge definition, extending the dry measurement range downwards.
A new segmentation algorithm allows even more precise detection of particles with the sharpest contours, for both fine and coarse particles. This results in significantly greater accuracy in determining size and shape parameters, greater statistical significance, and more reproducible results. In addition, several software-configurable operating modes are available, enabling flexible combinations of the detection range, frame rate and resolution adapted to the specific application.
In combination with newly developed lenses, the high-resolution camera doubles the dynamic particle size range that can be captured during a measurement. This automatically expands the usable analysis range, offering significant benefits to both single-range and multi-range users. While the former benefit directly from a broader measurement spectrum, the latter can, in many cases, reduce their hardware requirements.
Thanks to full backward compatibility with earlier QICPIC models, switching to the new generation could not be easier.
QUIXEL | Proven technology. New horizons. Tailored for QICPIC/S.
In addition to the new sensor, a second highlight is making its debut: QUIXEL, our proven wet dispersion system for suspensions and emulsions, previously exclusive to laser diffraction, is now also available in a version specifically developed for the QICPIC/S. Mechanically precision-matched to the new sensor generation, it combines proven dispersion technology with the precision and performance of the QICPIC/S.
Optical concentration, the key measurement parameter, is displayed live on the control panel, allowing users to maintain full control at all times while loading the sample. An integrated ultrasonic unit supports the dispersion process, while a generously sized water reservoir and the deliberate omission of wear-prone peristaltic pumps further ensure robust continuous operation with noticeably less maintenance.
QICPIC | Particle size and particle shape analysis in laboratory
The modular image analysis sensor QICPIC combines size and shape analysis of particulate systems from 1 µm to 34,000 µm. Flexible adaption to the individual application is provided by a wide range of dispersing and dosing units.
