Precise particle size analysis for dry products in process environments and automated laboratories from 0.25 µm to 3,500 µm

MYTOS integrates the established core technologies of HELOS laser diffraction and RODOS dry dispersion in a single robust body: a process-proven laser diffraction sensor for dry powders ranging from 0.25 µm to 3,500 µm. In combination with continuously operating sampling system TWISTER a complete integration into the processing pipe is realised making it a true in-line solution delivering representative results. Alternatively, MYTOS may be operated on-line either with TWISTER, MIXER, SCREWSAMPLER, L-probes or existing sampling solutions. Integrated at-line operation in automated lab environments is succeeded with vibratory feeder VIBRI. For instance, typical applications comprise milling operations or spray granulation.

The process-specific laser diffraction sensors find a wide range of applications from cement to pharmaceuticals, from roughest industrial conditions to GMP environments. If required, both systems may be configured for ATEX zones.

The laser diffraction sensor MYTOS forms together with the representative sampler TWISTER a closed, perfectly coordinated and robust in-line process analysis system, which is directly integrated in the process line.

The laser diffraction sensors MYTOS form together with representative samplers like TWISTER, MIXER, SCREWSAMPLER and probes perfectly coordinated and robust on-line process analysis systems. The sampler is integrated in the process line, takes a sample and feeds it directly to the particle size analysis.

Configurations

The at-line versions of the robust dispersion and sensor units MYTOS combined with the dosing unit VIBRI are suitable for automated laboratory operations. The integration in the central control system and the reporting of results are adapted to the existing communication environment. The system is either mounted stationary to a wall or frame or in a mobile rack.

Configurations

The laser diffraction sensors MYTOS  can also be used as a manually operated laboratory instruments. As standard, the systems are pre-equipped for potential integration at a later date into a fully-automated at-line laboratory automation system.
