Sympatec PM-Tour 2005

High Speed Image Analysis for the lab & the line

Invitation

Particles – Whether they are dry powders, suspensions, droplets or emulsions, particles influence our everyday lives.

In research and manufacturing it is essential that proper understanding of particulate behaviour is obtained in order to design products and processes which exhibit optimum performance and yield.

In every case it is essential that the particles are analysed correctly to provide information which is relevant to how the particles will perform. Analysis of dry powders by suspension in a liquid will yield very limited information!

Many applications demand more than size distribution to fully understand product performance, shape of particles is also important. Sympatec have integrated their existing methods of particle dispersion into an Image Analysis system capable of analysing millions of particles in a very short timeframe

A free seminar is being offered during the Microscience 2008 exhibition at London/ExCel (www.microscience2008.org.uk, www.excel-london.co.uk) on Wednesday, 25th June 2008 to give theoretical information and practical advice to existing or new particle characterisation scientists or users of characterisation data. The seminar will take place in the Cityside rooms of ExCel. The program consists of technical presentations followed by demonstrations of working systems.

Hands on demonstrations will be performed on the Sympatec booth B6 in the Microscience 2008 exhibition hall. We would be very pleased to see you at this event; documentation, and refreshments will be provided.
