High resolution spray analysis with SPRAYER comprising bench, operational panel,
trajectory actuator (with software control of stroke, velocity and acceleration definition), extraction unit and cover,
inserted in the measuring zone of HELOS/BR
.
Technical specifications and dimensions.
The SPRAYER is a versatile adapter of pump sprays or propellant gas sprays to the HELOS sensor for the measurement of particle and droplet size distributions.
As the results are usually depending on a variety of parameters, e.g. the force or the time behaviour driving the spraying process, the distance to the measuring volume, the orientation of the spraying direction with respect to the direction of the gravity of earth, etc., the spraying process has to be performed under controlled conditions:
The SPRAYER can be easily adapted to the different styles of the spray bottles. The direction of the piston is adjustable.
The measurement can be performed by the WINDOX software in three different modes:
The SPRAYER can be applied to all members of the HELOS family. For the operation an extraction unit is required for sample collection and the generation of a laminar air flow in the measuring zone of the HELOS.
For inhalers or nebulizers please refer to INHALER.
The SPRAYER is available in two versions: With Trajectory Actuator or with Force Actuator. The SPRAYER can be extended by the complementary actuator, as an option.

Scope of delivery of the SPRAYER with Trajectory Actuator.

SPRAYER with Trajectory Actuator inserted and Metered Dose Inhaler. The actuator is lifted to enable the necessary stroke direction.

Scope of delivery of the SPRAYER with force actuator.
The SPRAYER can be operated under software control or manually for testing purpose via the control panel.
